Let the debates begin… 😅
We've been crunching the numbers 👩🏾💻 & looking into our crystal ball. 🔮 We think we've figured out what's going to be hot 🔥 in marketing in 2023.
in true #droppinggems 💎 fashion, Here's what we foresee:
🤖 Brands will learn to use artificial intelligence (AI) as an invaluable tool instead of avoiding the unknown. (We're curious to see how people use Copy.ai & ChatGPT!)
📲 Content will have a whole new value. It'll be more about homemade user-generated content than Birkin-bag-toting influencers.
♻️ Long-form content will be used for more than just YouTube.
it'll also be repurposed into blogs, carousels, & short-form content such as Instagram & Facebook Reels, TikToks & YouTube Shorts.
🫂 And finally, brands will look to create community & connection by being more transparent with their social responsibilities & ethical business practices.
BUT THERE'S A CATCH...IF YOU'RE Wondering what 2023 #marketingtrends your business should hop on first 👀 THEN KEEP READING!
WE HAVE A few opinions here because it really depends on your business/brand marketing goals.
If you are looking for more efficiency (and possibly effectiveness) in your marketing, then embracing AI should be at the top your list.
If you pack your content with tons of value, then diversifying your channels and repurposing your long-form content can expand your reach and increase brand awareness tenfold.
If you want to reach your audience more directly/strategically, then micro and even nano influencers are kicking ass in terms of engagement because they represent and relate to everyday people more than socialites and celebs!
And last, if you are focused on enhancing your brand reputation or PR, then showcase the purposeful work you’re doing with your audience. More people (especially younger generations) care A LOT about the ethics of businesses, which influences buying behaviors from acquisition to retention.
